With the world cup around the corner and our affiliation to Solihull Moors F.C. the Jask office has caught football fever.

After watching a few games as official club sponsors to the Moors this year, a few of us were itching to get into our boots and play some football ourselves. So when we were approached with the chance to participate in The Nick Mowl Cup we were one of the first teams on the competition sheet!

The 5-a-side tournament, held at Solihull Moors F.C., took place on Saturday 12th May. We took a team of seven down (with a few more joining us as spectators) as we tried our luck in the cup.

On the day we were drawn against some tough competition (including some ex-international players such as James Beattie) and unfortunately we didn’t advance as one of the top two placed teams in our group.

Nevertheless, everyone involved had a great day out and we fully support the fantastic cause behind the competition. We’re extremely pleased to hear that a lot of money has been raised for the occasion.

Thanks again to all involved in both organising and supporting the hugely successful day. We also thank Solihull Moors F.C. for hosting the competition and sending an invite our way.

Here’s hoping we’ll be seeing you again next year!
