The British Athletics Grand Prix came to the NIA in Birmingham this weekend and it was great to see the post Olympic public interest in athletics is still very high. Even better to see was our range of artwork across the entire arena – from simple signage systems to flyers placed on every seat in the stands! It is always a good feeling as a designer to see your hard work come to fruition and be serving its purpose – from getting people into the world of athletics officiating through to promoting the London Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium.
The event also marked the launch of British Athletics new identity too, which we have helped to roll out across the entire event materials, as well as a redesigned website (see www.britishathletics.org.uk).
The only regret is that I should have taken the company SLR – my mobile photography wasn’t so good (as you can see!!)
Now it’s time to start the design process off for the outdoor season – keep an eye out in Birmingham and London for our latest work!
